The Forbes 18 hole championship golf course is located beside the Newell Highway on the northern side of town. Since the $400,000 irrigation system was installed in 2012, the Forbes Golf Club has improved in leaps and bounds and is now regarded as one of the best country courses in NSW.

The Club runs regular Mens and Ladies competitions, has key events such as the Opens and the Forbes Nissan Classic (with $5000 sponsorship), has regular veterans competitions, runs a Summer 6’s 9-hole competition to encourage new players as well as for club players, and a number of Charity events.

Forbes Golf and Sportsman’s Hotel is conveniently located adjacent to the course.
